Abstract:In the detection of compact range quiet zone phase performance, in order to obtain the true performance of the field, it is necessary to eliminate the influence of the detection system on the measurement results. Research indicates that phase detection errors arise from scanner mounting misalignment and detection plane displacement, and shows a certain pattern. By using the phase measurement results of different profiles of the quiet zone, the error caused by the offset can be calculated and corrected. Therefore, the influence of the detection system"s measurement trajectory deviating from the ideal path can be eliminated. This method has been used for performance testing in the quiet zone of compact range. The method is simple, reliable, and can obtain real and effective detection results.
